Autism Spectrum Disorders in Central Florida.
BCBA Role Santiago & Friends Family Center for Autism seeks an exceptional BCBA with a clinical background in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Santiago & Friends provides a range of center-based academic services for children with ASDs.
The BCBA will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing supervision of the ABA services provided by Santiago & Friends.
The BCBA serves a critical role in our team-based model of servicing ABA therapy clients.
The BCBA provides extensive training and coaching to Associate therapists.
The BCBA also works closely with the Program Director to develop programs, create materials for therapy, and prepare data for review and decision making.
BCBA will also conduct individual therapy with clients.
Reports to:
Program Director, Latino Leadership Executive Director, and Board of Directors
Responsibilities:
Oversee client enrollment in ABA services Complete all new client clinical documentation within specified timeframe Conduct and Complete initial Assessment Complete treatment plan reviews Develop and implement individualized behavior plans Monitor BIPs monthly, document, and maintain summarized raw data Monitor individual's progress, and make changes as needed Participate in Treatment Team meetings with program manager, other BA's, shift supervisors and psychiatrist to coordinate services Complete all billing documentation related to service provision Assist office manager in ensuring that services are being provided according to service authorization Collaborate with a clinical leadership team to continuously improve the therapeutic model Supervise RBTs and BCaBAs Build relationships with parents, the community, and local leaders Provide direct clinical services and consultative services Maintain a strong professional presence at conferences and within organizations, associations, publications, and other professional networks in the field Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in the center Opportunity to be involved in research for publication
Qualifications:
Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field required BCBA Certified Approved supervisor with the BACB for student candidates At least two years of experience serving individuals with ASDs and other related disabilities Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies Experience building, leading, and managing a human service organization Significant experience with staff training and supervision Ability to create and present trainings/workshops for parents Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references Highly organized and detail oriented Technologically adept and enthusiastic Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred Compensation and
