40 General Description:
The Director is responsible for promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare's Culture of Choice ; ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, direction, and oversight necessary to ensure assigned functional area(s)--Patient Financial Services, includes Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, Business Office for Parrish Healthcare--have the proper resources, metrics and talent in place to effectively fulfill our mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone all the Time and achieve organizational strategic (Game Plan) goals.
The Director assumes 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for assigned functional area(s).
This position reports to the Executive Director, Finance Operations/Controller and/or CFO Key
Responsibilities:
HEALING COMMUNITIES GROWTH 1.
Directs strategic planning within assigned functional area(s) to anticipate current and future service solutions; influences the innovation, development and growth of service strategies; assures the achievement of departmental dashboard metrics within each strategic pillar (People, Service, Quality, Growth, Finance); takes immediate and effective steps to assure national benchmarks are achieved or sustained.
HEALING EXPERIENCES SERVICE 2.
Develops and maintains systems, processes, policies and procedures that result in assigned care partners always providing excellent patient, family, visitor and internal customer experiences as measured by HCAHPS and/or other national best-practice benchmarks.
SYSTEM RELIABILITY QUALITY & SAFETY 3.
Develops and maintains systems, processes, policies and procedures that result in a continuous improvement environment within which assigned care partners always achieve national best/leading-practice standards for quality and safety as measured by CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies pertinent to areas of responsibility; holding self and others accountable for actions and outcomes.

Directs policy formulation, implementation and adherence.
Responsible for the adherence to all Parrish Healthcare policies and procedure as well as regulations and codes established by federal, state, and local government affecting professional practice and industry regulations.
Leads necessary certification, accreditation, and audit procedures; and ensures that reports required by regulatory agencies are prepared and submitted within established timeframes.

Identify, analyze, reduce and resolve all patient financial service issues associated with, but not limited to:
registration/scheduling, authorizations, billing and insurance collections, A/R resolution, guarantor collections, charge description master, charge capture, revenue enhancement, cash applications, financial reporting, revenue cycle audits, etc.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FINANCE 7.
Develops and/or maintains systems, processes, policies and procedures that result in effective planning and administration of annual budget(s); productive, cost efficient and effective operations; and corrective actions for any operating expenses that deviate from budget.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as pertains to the work area.

Requirements:
Formal Education Bachelor's Degree required in business or related field; or experience equivalency in Healthcare Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Management as outlined below.

Work Experience Greater than 5 years of relevant experience; >3 years of leadership experience with a BAS degree.
Greater than 7 years of relevant experience; >5 years of leadership experience with AS/AA degree; or Greater than 10 years of relevant experience; >7 years of leadership experience with high school diploma Required Licenses and Certifications Current Sigma Six Green Belt certification, or required within one (1) year of employment HFMA certification a plus Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
