Successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of a public housing office.
Duties include:
client interviewing, rental unit inspection, assistance with A/R, A/P and computer input.
Must be a team player with multi-tasking abilities, extremely organized, self starter and have a positive, flexible attitude.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the general operations of a public housing authority including compliance with federal and local regulations.
Education, Training and
Experience:
1.
Minimum AA OR AS degree plus three years experience in public housing administration.
2.
Training in housing programs other than incumbents primary area of assignment, i.
e.
, 3 months in Public Housing, 3 months in Section 8 or 3 months in public housing accounting is a plus.
3.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, as approved by the Executive Director.
4.
Certifications in various public housing disciplines, a plus.
(National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials - NAHRO, Florida Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials - FAHRO) 5.
Candidate must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
Annual salary range:
$54,750.
59 - $101,920 depending on experience.
