The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for teaching and be able to create a positive learning environment.
The Tutor will be responsible for helping students understand difficult concepts, developing lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
The successful candidate must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with students of all ages and backgrounds.
While working with CogniTutor, LLC, you choose your own working times as a tutor.
What's more, you get the chance to receive more experience and a mentor who may be able to write a letter of recommendation for your future endeavors.
You will be an instructor or teacher to students, keep up your schedule on our calendar, and submit session reports with data after each session.
The need is for tutoring reading to a 1st and 4th grade student who lives in Titusville, FL.
Specific schedule will be determined by the tutor and client, preferably Tuesday or Friday after 4pm.
This is an immediate hire and will require a background check.
This is a great position to have as supplemental or part-time work! You get to create your own schedule and choose which students you will take on!
Responsibilities:
Understand the subject matter and be able to explain it clearly.
Be patient and understanding of the student's learning style.
Be able to identify areas of difficulty for the student and provide appropriate guidance.
Develop a personalized learning plan for each student.
Provide feedback on the student's progress.
Maintain a positive learning environment.
