Summary:
Responsible for managing parts and orders for all orders that get sprayed white inside.
Spraying requires sanding the inside of the shade after it has been powder coated to create a nice quality finish.
Responsible for ensuring the parts are clean and free of debris.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain spray equipment, guns, gun cleaner, spray booth Spray and wipe shades and store on shelves to dry while keeping work orders with the parts to ensure they are delivered to QC together Once parts are painted and dried, they are placed on pallets the following morning and delivered to QC.
Clean out all orders from the spray room from the previous day Responsible for keeping an eye on materials and supplies to perform the job of painting a large volume of shades on a daily basis Keep work area clean Wear PPE necessary for the job Sand and tack rag shades then move into area to be sprayed Spray shades with HVLP gun and wipe overspray from shade Maintain records of coated parts, keep work orders with parts Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Maintain regular and prompt attendance Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills 2 years' experience in painting area is preferred but not mandatory Work in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with good attitude and works well as a team member Educational/Certification/License Requirements High School Education or equivalent Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
